Governor Fayemi Grant minimum wage N30,000 payment by October
the process of the N30, 000 minimum wage to workers will start in Ekiti from October, Gov Kayode Fayemi commented on Saturday,

The governor said the measure was to stimulate workers, especially teachers, to be able to deliver the best to the state to recover the lost of glory and proud of being the education centre of the country.
Fayemi said he decided to rebright the new system of teachers into the state and public schools, by Employed 2,000 new teachers to secure the future of the state.
“We will start payment of N30,000 to workers in Ekiti with the effort from this month, October.
“We determined to give Award diligenily expecially to the workers, particularly our teachers i have make the state proud.
this year’s WAEC, Ekiti was ranked 12th. I want to greet our teachers but that is not where Ekiti belonged, we must continually do more to rise to number one,” he said.
He said he was highly determined to protect and preserve the core values of making Ekiti the education capital of the nation.
Fayemi said he decided to open more schools in Ado Ekiti capital city in other to reduce ilitrate and over populated ones and make learning more important.
According to him, the only way we can restore our lost glory in education is to support our teachers to do more.
